Hong Kong (SE): On March 14, Pope Francis led the Filipino community in Italy in celebrating 500 Years of Christianity in the Philippines, during a Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica at 10.00am Rome time (5.00pm Hong Kong/Manila time).
Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle, prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples, and Angelo Cardinal De Donatis, the pope’s vicar of Rome, were also present at the event.
