Behold the crimsoned rose

Behold,
Behold the wood of the cross,
On which hung our salvation.
O come, let us adore…

From the dawn of his human nature
Found this priceless, amazing treasure
Oh yes, what a valuable gift to keep!
As he laid down his life for his sheep.

No greater gift to give than his love
He bore our sin as he lifted it above
Behold, at this most crimsoned rose
Adore his bloody face on the cross.

Oh men, how blessed you are indeed!
See his side, hands and feet as they bled
His pierced heart’s burned with love for us
Love this crimsoned rose who is Jesus.

Meditate on his compassionate heart
Let the cries of poor soul never to depart
From the sweet fragrance of this flower
May the scent of his love remains forever.
